What is Turned-Edge Construction?
Turned-edge, also called casemade, construction wraps printed paper, specialty paper, cloth, linen, leather-style material, or another approved cover material over rigid board. The wrap turns around the board edges to create a clean, durable, finished piece, one that combines structure, graphics, and tactile detail in a single build.
Rigid Board Structure
A rigid board core gives the piece shape, stiffness, and durability.
Printed or Specialty Wrap
A printed or specialty cover material is prepared to wrap the board.
Wrapped & Finished Edges
The material is turned around the edges and corners for a clean finish.
