Infinite Black’s Custom Vinyl Dice Tray
At Vulcan and NAPCO, we get excited when new packaging design challenges come along. So when Infinite Black contacted us with their unique product request, our design team stepped up and delivered.
Infinite Black designs and publishes games, game accessories with a current emphasis on Lovecraftian fantasy and horror. Co-Founders David LaRocca and Heath Robinson, met with our Territory Sales Manager, Chris Melson, and came for a visit to our production plant for a tour and consultation on ways their unique dice tray could be manufactured.
The initial design idea was for a stitched product. But as meetings with our design team progressed and we looked at our capabilities, our customer’s budget, material and decorating requirements, we realized the best solution was to go with a vinyl heat-sealed product with a foldable die-cut chipboard.
After several prototypes and pre-production samples, the final product was approved for production.
