We’ve added a new dimension to what we can do at our Sparta, NC facility, literally.
NAPCO USA has expanded into wide-format and embellishment printing, bringing texture, color accuracy, and surface flexibility to projects that used to require multiple vendors. Here’s what’s new, and why it matters.
Ten colors instead of four
Standard commercial printing runs on a four-color process. Our new equipment runs ten, which means richer, more accurate color reproduction, especially on the tones that are hardest to get right, like skin tones in cosmetics and beauty packaging. What you see in the design is what shows up on the shelf.
Texture you can feel
Beyond color, this capability adds raised and tactile ink finishes and metallic or spot varnish options, the kind of hand-finished feel that used to mean an extra step (and an extra vendor) after the print run. Now it comes off the same press.
Printing directly on more than paper and board
Perhaps the biggest shift: we can now print directly onto glass, wood, metal, and acrylic. No lamination step, no outsourcing the substrate work. If a project calls for a material outside the usual paper-and-board world, it’s now a conversation worth having with us.
Who this is for
We’re leading with a few areas where we think this capability makes the most immediate difference:
– Luxury retail & POP displays — displays and shelf pieces with a premium, hand-finished look
– Cosmetics & beauty packaging — color accuracy that holds true, including skin tones
– Architectural & specialty surfaces — direct printing on glass, wood, metal, and acrylic
– Short-run & sample packaging — digitally cut, no tooling delay, good for testing a new box before a full production run
If you’ve got a project that might be a fit, reach out. We’d love to talk through what we can build together.
